Oscar will excell at anything he's put to. He was originally started English, but has been ridden western for most of his training. Oscar has mostly done ranch type work. Cattle drives through the Ochoco Mountains ,brandings, ropeing, ect. He's big stong and fast, not to mention very good looking . Oscar would also do very well as a hunter jumper or even dressage , barrel racing, you name it. In my opinion , Oscar is happiest out on the ranch working cows with a favorite cowboy or cowgirl.
