Stevie is an extremely well-mannered, friendly, curious, intelligent, easy-going, and engaging young gelding. His pedigree and current growth suggest that he will reach 14.2 hands when he finishes growing. Stevie is respectful and well-socialized with other horses and with people. He was raised here on our farm with dogs at his heels and has never once had any problems, and he is accustomed to daily handling. His personality is playful, sometimes mischievous, but he loves to work in the ring and is remarkably focused for a 3-year-old horse. Stevie is absolutely perfect in the trailer, bathes without fuss, and stands well for the vet and farrier. His feet and overall health have been carefully monitored from birth, and his wolf teeth have been done. He was shown in hand at the Lippitt Country Show as both a weanling and a yearling, where he placed second (in 2006) and first (in 2007) respectively; his behavior in the show ring is generally very good. Stevie is being trained for dressage and had his first test on October 18; he performed extremely well, scoring a 67% and taking a blue ribbon. In his second show 3 weeks later, he scored 69.5% and earned two more blue ribbons. 

Stevie is available for sale by private treaty; price will be commensurate with his level of training and performance at the time of inquiry. We are also willing to lease him to a skilled rider capable of helping to bring his dressage training along, preferably in concert with his current trainer.
